Evolving your marketing department

Marketing is no longer a support department. It is the control room.

If your marketing is not leading the company, you are just waiting for the competition to run you over. We are not here to “run” your department: we are here to make it evolve — people, processes and tools — and to put artificial intelligence inside it the way people do when they want to stay ahead, not chase.

Change

Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or the present are certain to miss the future.

THE THESIS

“ADDING” AI IS NOT ENOUGH

Giving a team AI is not enough. How they work has to change.

I say this as someone who runs an agency every day: most companies “add AI” to marketing the way you add an app — and then wonder why nothing changes. AI is not an app: it is a different way of working. A team that does not change its method does the same things as before with AI, only slightly faster. We did it on ourselves first. KOM was born as a laboratory — KOM + LAB — and today it is our own first client: we reorganized the roles, measured the time, built internal tools with AI. What we propose to your department, we have already tried on ours. It is not theory: it is our daily trade.

AN OUTSIDE EYE

From inside, certain inefficiencies are invisible.

Are you sure you know the real talents — and the frustrations — of the people on your team, or do you stop at roles and job titles? Anyone inside a department every day struggles to see its bottlenecks. An outside eye, used to running agency work with advanced tools, spots them quickly: where time is lost, who is being wasted on work an AI agent could handle, where the method is missing.

We do not come to judge the people: we come to free them from the work that holds them back.

PEOPLE AT THE CENTER

The 6 marketing talents. Each one amplified by AI.

A team that works is not made of “roles”, but of talents that fit together: Reflection, Invention, Discernment, Enthusiasm, Support, Execution. AI replaces none of them — it amplifies them. It takes the repetitive work away from Execution (reports, tagging, first drafts) and gives time back; it gives Reflection ready data instead of tables to assemble by hand; it offers Invention a starting point instead of a blank page.

People stay at the center: AI does the heavy lifting, they do what counts — thinking, deciding, choosing.

IN PRACTICE

What actually changes with AI on the team.

Three things above all. First: the repetitive work — reporting, tagging content, first drafts — moves to agents that handle it in minutes, freeing the people. Second: all the company’s knowledge — documents, data, history — becomes a single “memory” the team can question and get real answers from, not generic ones (that is RAG).

Third: AI assistants sit alongside meetings and daily work, suggesting improvements while decisions are being made. The result is not “fewer people”: it is the same people doing far more.

MASTERY, NOT A LICENSE

Handing over the tools is not enough. You have to teach people to use them — with the right training.

A department only evolves if the people know how to work with AI, not if you leave them a piece of software and wish them luck. So we train the team with the official Anthropic courses — the makers of Claude — the same ones we take as certified partners in the Claude Partner Network: paths for technical people and for people who are not.

The team learns to use the tools with judgment, to recognize when AI gets it wrong, to keep the judgment in their own hands. It is the difference between a department that “uses AI” and one that has mastered it. And mastery, not a license, is what gives you the advantage.

Technical and non-technical paths

MEASURING TIME

Time is not wasted: it is invested. And measured.

You cannot improve what you do not measure. So time tracking, here, is not policing: it is the way to see where the time actually goes, keep the workload under control and make performance real and readable.

We built the tool we use internally ourselves, with AI: we know what a marketing department needs because we live it every day. And with AI removing the pointless work, that time moves to where it creates value.

HONEST CRITICISM

If you only want to “manage”, we are not your people.

This work is not for anyone who wants to keep everything as it is. It is for anyone who wants a department that leads the company instead of chasing it. We will be honest even when it is uncomfortable: we will tell you if a role is being wasted, if a process should be thrown out, if AI is no help at a particular point.

And we do not replace people with machines: we make them stronger. Anyone looking for a shortcut to lay people off has knocked on the wrong door.

QUESTIONS

FAQ

The questions we always get.

Will AI let me cut headcount?

No, and that is not what we propose. AI removes the repetitive work and gives people time back for what counts. A stronger department, not a smaller one.

My team is “old school”, will they manage?

That is what the training is for. You do not need to be technical: you need to want to work better. We walk through it step by step.

Does our data stay ours?

Yes. The company memory (RAG) lives under your control, with the permissions you decide.

How long does the work take?

It depends on the size of the department. But the goal is to make you autonomous, not to tie you to us.

Where do we start?

From a free analysis: we look at talents, processes and where AI genuinely pays for you.

THE PROOF

We are our own first client.

Everything we propose, we did on ourselves first. We reorganized our department’s talents, rebuilt our own site with AI (Claude Design), built from scratch the management system and the time tracker we use every day (with Claude Code) and connected our systems to AI to measure in real time.

We became certified Anthropic partners not to put a badge on the wall, but because we live with these tools in the field. When we walk into your marketing department, we do not bring slides: we bring a method we use every day.
