ROAS tells you what you take in. Not what you make.
Without numbers there are only opinions — but the wrong numbers are worse than silence. Almost everyone measures revenue and stops there. We connect ad spend, real conversions and margins in one dashboard that updates in real time, and tell you not how much you sell, but how much you keep.

THE PRINCIPLE
REVENUE IS VANITY, PROFIT IS TRUTH
A ROAS of 5 can lose you money.
I say this as someone who has been selling online since 2005, from eTies.it onwards: the number that makes everyone happy — ROAS — is also the most deceptive. Five euros of revenue for every euro spent looks like a triumph. But if those products carry little margin, or you discounted them to move them, or returns bring them back, that “triumph” is a loss in disguise. Revenue is vanity, profit is truth. Measuring properly does not mean collecting colorful dashboards: it means connecting the money you spend to the money that actually stays in your pocket. And doing it while the campaign is running, not the month after, when the money is already gone.
“We do not tell you how much you sell. We tell you how much you keep.”
— The principle of the Measure phase

THE FOUNDATIONS
Before measuring, the numbers have to be clean.
It sounds obvious, but this is where almost everything collapses: broken tracking, duplicate events, pixels counting the same sale twice. If the base is dirty, every decision downstream is a bet.
We start there — Google Tag Manager, GA4, server-side tracking, Consent Mode, enhanced conversions — until the data is genuinely reliable. Spending on advertising without clean tracking is driving in the dark: sooner or later you pay the bill.

THE HEART OF MEASUREMENT
Spend, real conversions and margins. In the same place, in real time.
This is the new part, and it is the one that changes everything. Usually this data lives in three separate worlds: the spend in the ad accounts, the real conversions in the store, the margins in the management system. We connect them with AI through MCPs — the connectors that let artificial intelligence read your real systems safely.
So the AI cross-references, live, how much you have spent on Google and Meta, which orders actually came in and how much margin they left. Not the ROAS the platform shows you — which counts returns too and ignores your costs — but the real profit, campaign by campaign. And when a campaign is burning money on products that pay little, you see it as it happens, not at month end.

THE DECISIONS CHANGE
Optimizing on profit, not on appearances.
With the real figures in front of you, decisions change. You move budget towards the campaigns that leave margin, not just revenue. You stop the waste while it is happening. You stop celebrating a high ROAS on a product that, discounted and with returns, loses money.
It is what we have always meant by a simple sentence: “your margins are our margins”. Not a report to frame: a hand on the tiller, in real time.

THE WHY, NOT ONLY THE HOW MUCH
The numbers tell you what is happening. PostHog tells you why.
Google Analytics tells you how many came in and how many bought. It does not tell you why the others left. For that we use PostHog, a behavioral analytics suite that goes well beyond traditional analytics.
It records real sessions — you watch back, like a film, what a person actually does on your site; it draws heatmaps of clicks and scrolls — where they look, where they get stuck, what they ignore; it reconstructs funnels step by step — the exact point where you lose people; and it lets you try the alternatives with A/B tests, deciding on data and not on taste. These are the friction points invisible to normal metrics: the ones that, once fixed, raise conversions without spending another euro on advertising.

THE MAP
WHAT WE WATCH (AND WITH WHAT)
Only numbers that move the profit.
01
Clean tracking
GTM, GA4, server-side, enhanced conversions, Consent Mode.
02
Profit, not only ROAS
Spend, real conversions and margins cross-referenced via AI + MCP, in real time.
03
ROI, ROAS, CPA, CLV
The metrics that count, read together: profitability, not vanity.
04
Real behavior
PostHog: recordings, heatmaps, funnels, A/B tests.
05
Margin per campaign and product
Where you genuinely earn, where you are losing.
06
A report you actually read
No decorative slides: clear numbers, priorities, next moves.

NOT A MONTH-END PDF
A living dashboard, not a month-end PDF.
The monthly report photographs the past; a dashboard connected to your systems shows the present. We build dashboards that bring several sources together — spend, sales, margins, behavior — and remove the duplicates, so you look at one place and understand where you grow and where you lose.
And when you need the summary to decide, there is the Audit Report: diagnosis, priorities and roadmap, with PostHog’s behavioral baseline and the economic analysis by category. Operational, not theoretical.

BLUNTNESS
Sometimes the data says “stop”. And we tell you.
Measuring seriously also means finding out that a campaign you like does not pay, or that a channel you keep investing in is running at a loss. We do not sweeten the numbers to keep you happy: we put them on the table as they are.
We prefer an ugly truth to a pretty lie — because it is the only way for you to stop losing money and start making it.

QUESTIONS
FAQ
The questions we always get.
Is the ROAS the platform gives me not enough?
No: that ROAS counts returns and ignores your costs. Without margin, it is a number that can mislead. We measure the real profit.
What is an “MCP”, in plain words?
A connector that lets AI read your systems safely — ad accounts, store, management system — and cross-reference the data. No manual exports, no spreadsheets drifting out of sync.
Does my data stay safe?
Yes. The AI reads under your control, with the permissions you decide. Measuring does not mean handing the keys to anyone.
Does PostHog replace Google Analytics?
It completes it. GA counts, PostHog explains: recordings, heatmaps, funnels. Together you see the how much and the why.
How much do we need to get started?
Not much: often the first job is cleaning up the tracking. From there, the dashboard and the real-time profit come quickly.
Stop measuring revenue.
Start measuring profit.
We connect spend, sales and margins, clean up the tracking and give you a dashboard that tells the truth — in real time, not at month end. And if the numbers say something should be stopped, you will be the first to know.
