Social & storytelling

People no longer have content forced on them. They choose it. Does yours deserve to be chosen?

There was a time when advertising landed on you between one page and the next. The internet turned that upside down: today people go looking for content, and they give their attention only to whoever gives them a reason. So we do not do “the homework” of a post a day: we build a narrative that has something to say — and an objective behind it.

01
WHY

WHY

A post without an objective is just an image lost in the feed.

In twenty years I have watched a thousand “editorial plans” die, made of nice posts that brought nothing. The problem was not the design: it was that they had no purpose. An editorial plan is not judged by likes, but by its ability to support bigger objectives — awareness, trust, leads, sales. And storytelling is not “telling nice stories”: it is the craft of creating empathy and reaching people on an emotional level, giving a voice to the brand’s identity. That is why content that works does not talk about your products: it talks about common ground between you and your audience. That is where the relationship begins.

“The web taught us the power of the network effect: when you connect people and ideas, they grow.”

Living social media day by day has a cost you cannot see.

The symptoms are always the same. Posts people like that bring nothing. No link between the organic content and the paid campaigns, as if they were two different companies. Likes and followers taken for KPIs, when they are the most deceptive metrics there are. And content that does not reflect the brand’s identity, because it is made day by day instead of coming from a strategy.

The result is the worst of both worlds: you spend time and energy, and the brand stays exactly where it was. An editorial plan disconnected from the strategy can be the most useless thing in the world.

Buyer personas are the genetic code of the editorial plan.

Before the calendar comes a question: how do I want my brand to be perceived, which values do I want associated with it? We do not improvise here, we use a method. We define the buyer personas — who they are, where they live, what they need, which platform they are actually on — and tie them to the brand identity through the “reflection” facet of Kapferer’s Prism.

From there come the narrative threads, the tone and the choice of channels: Instagram for the visual narrative of reels and stories, Facebook for the mix and the community, TikTok for movement and trends, LinkedIn for B2B thought leadership. Not all channels are equal: better to aim before firing.

SERVICES

WHAT WE DO, IN PRACTICE

From strategy to measurement, one single voice.

01

Strategy and buyer personas

Before “what do we post”, the “who are we talking to and why”: identity, values, audience.

02

Editorial plan and calendar

Themes, dates and channels in a clear structure, not improvised posts.

03

Storytelling, copy and visuals

Content that gives the identity a voice and builds empathy, not filler.

04

Content creation

Photo, video, reels and UGC; and when it helps, micro-influencers chosen for authority, not for follower counts.

05

Real measurement

Engagement time, impact on the customer journey, conversions: not likes and followers.

The advantage

Organic does not live alone: every piece of content is conceived for the funnel from the start, in dialogue with the paid campaigns.

CASE STUDY · LUXURY LEATHER GOODS

When content stops “making numbers” and starts making sales.

On Via Verdi — a Florentine luxury leather goods house — social was not a megaphone for promotions, it was a voice: an editorial line (with the Dolcevita brand too) telling the story of craft, material and the world around the product, building desire before any sale.

That content work fed the organic channel — the editorial blog alone added +45% qualified organic traffic — and gave the campaigns an audience already warm to convert. It is the proof of the thesis: content that gives value is not an image cost, it is the first step of the funnel.

03
FUNNEL

INTEGRATION

Organic and paid are not two worlds.

It is the most common and most expensive mistake: treating the editorial plan and the ads as sealed compartments. They have different objectives and tones — organic builds loyalty in the community with an informal tone, paid converts with a more commercial one — but they have to tell the same story and pass the baton. Organic builds trust and recognition; paid catches that already warm audience and takes it to action. Apart they weaken each other; together they make a funnel.

So every piece of content is conceived to be scaled, and we use the tools to sharpen the work — native analytics, social listening and AI for segmentation, personalization and timing — without ever handing the brand’s voice to the machine.

COMPARISON

EDITORIAL VS DAY BY DAY

Posting and communicating are not the same thing.

Editorial, with method

Social “day by day”

It starts from

An objective

An idea for a post

The content

The brand’s voice

Feed filler

With the paid

Same funnel

Separate worlds

The KPI

Engagement, sales

06
RESULTS

WHAT ACTUALLY CHANGES

A brand, not a collage of posts.

A brand people recognize

One consistent voice, not a collage of disconnected posts.

A community that comes back

Content with value that builds loyalty, instead of just catching a like.

A complete funnel

Organic warms up, paid converts: together, not apart.

Metrics that count

Engagement and impact on the purchase journey, not vanity metrics.

Before the posts, let us talk
about what you have to say.

The first step is not a quote, it is a conversation with no commitment: we work out who you are, who you want to talk to and what story you have to tell. Then we tell you whether organic social is the right lever for your objectives — or whether, where you are now, it is better to start elsewhere. An ugly truth beats a pretty lie, here too.
